New standard for certification bodies of quality assurance systems (central quality comittee) DIN EN ISO/INTERNATIONAL Electronical Commission 17021:2006 The DIN EN 45012, in which the general were fixed requirements in places, which examine and certify quality management systems, was replaced by the DIN EN ISO/INTERNATIONAL Electronical Commission 17021:2006. The transition period was specified by international resolutions on two years after the date of the publication as ISO standard. That means it that the past accreditations on the basis of the DIN EN 45012 until at the latest

by the DIN EN ISO/INTERNATIONAL Electronical Commission 17021:2006 to be replaced must.
Since also the accreditation places need a certain time for this conversion, the ZLS becomes after a conversion phase all places, which request central quality comittee
starting from 1 January 2008
accredit 17021:2006 according to the DIN EN ISO/INTERNATIONAL Electronical Commission. The accordingly changed documents, e.g. demand documentation, become in time in the homepage of the ZLS published.
All places, which cannot over an ZLS accreditation after 45012 be ordered and in the framework by repetition accreditations by 15 September 2008 to the 17021 be changed over, must fulfill nevertheless at the latest at this time the requirements of the 17021:2006. These places are written down therefore of the ZLS and requested, the ZLS a plan with the necessary measures for the fulfilment of the 17021:2006 to submit. The ZLS will examine the conversion of this plan by 15 September 2008. |
